Labyrinth Celebrations

We apologize for the late notice but the Labyrinth Celebration scheduled for September 21, 2017 at 6PM has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Thank you to the Carrie T. Watson Garden Club for presenting such a wonderful series of Labyrinth Celebrations over the summer months!

The Carrie T. Watson Garden Club will be illuminating the Labyrinth at LEAF on the 21st of each month (weather permitting) throughout the summer starting in May. Each month the illumination ceremony will focus on a different aspect of Labyrinth use.

The scheduled celebrations are as follows:

May 21st Memorial / Celebration of Life 8PM
June 21st Joyful / Solstice Celebration

Children’s Activities

Adult Activities

1-3PM

7PM

July 21st Peace & Unity 8PM
August 21st New Life Path / Direction 7:30PM
September 21st Gratitude / Thanksgiving 6PM

The Solstice Celebration titled “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” will be the biggest event. During the 1:00 pm -3:00pm time frame children can enjoy games, crafts and activities focused on fairies, trolls, dragons and joy. The evening will feature readings, music, a contemplative craft, dance and drama.

The Carrie T. Watson Garden Club’s intent with these celebrations is to welcome the community to the Labyrinth at LEAF and provide a beautiful, centering place in a world that can be overwhelming at times.

Mark your calendars! Come and find the gift of peace and serenity while walking the labyrinth path. Take time this summer to reflect and enjoy the beauty of Erie’s labyrinth and its surroundings.
