Trees at Frontier Park

A goal of LEAF is to generate a greater awareness of the importance of trees.

Historically, LEAF has conducted countless Free Tree Giveaways, the Plant a Tree on Arbor Day event, LEAF Festival, Grow Green at LEAF Free Fifth Grade Field Trip, nature-focused field trips, and year-round education programs for all ages and abilities.

There are now more than 1,000 trees in the arboretum!

Many planted by LEAF and “adopted” by families and friends of LEAF.

Currently, we’re on a mission to plant 275,000 trees outside of the park.

LEAF has worked hard for twenty years on transforming Frontier park to be the viable, sustainable, green space that it is today. Our next goal is to work outward into our community and use our skills to beautify other local areas in need.
